Riviera Marina Fishing Report

Look where we live! Our weather is starting to warm up some and our water levels have been up for the most part. The striper bite has been a bit on the slow side but they are out there the evenings have been serving our anglers well. I am sure its a lot quieter as the jet skiis do not have running lights they are two small of a watercraft for night use.
I have been getting reports that up on Lake Mohave has been producing a few stripers and some catfish. These have been mostly near the power lines and the surrounding coves. There has been some activity near the dam for the line sides with a few large mouth bass being found back in the coves. We hope to have more on this as the lake bite is starting to take off.
Below the Davis dam along the beautiful shores of the Colorado River there has been some activity in regards to the stripped bass. Our local angler and fishing buddy Joe Bradley and Brian Gunter landed a nice size striper that was 37 and 3/8 inches this fish weighed in after being cleaned at 13.96 pounds. These two fishing buddies were in Joes boat and using anchovies in the big bend area.
