Exciting news from Lake Mohave! Our local angler, Mitch Jones, had a successful day landing stripers while fishing on Mark "Corn Man" Osgood's boat. They were using a trolling technique with swim baits near the coves around the power lines on the Arizona side of the lake. These stripers weighed around 6 pounds and measured between 26 and 5/8 inches to 27 and 1/4 inches in length.

On the Nevada side, near the dam, there have been reports of decent catches using anchovies. Along the Colorado River shores, anchovy seems to be the preferred bait, yielding the best results. Rocky Beria, another local angler, had a successful catch while fishing from his jet-ski in the back bay.

There's also been great action in the Community Park area and near the Nevada dam, with reports of successful hookups. Larger-sized stripers are being caught using lures.
